Dedicated Servers

A physical server. Dedicated to your business.

Single- and dual-processor server options for applications that need a physical hardware allocation and a configuration you can plan around.

A closer look

When the hardware itself matters.

Dedicated servers suit projects that need a physical machine for their applications, databases or virtualisation environment. NETUV’s catalogue includes single- and dual-processor Intel Xeon configurations.

Review CPU, memory, disks, RAID layout and network requirements together. Usable storage depends on the selected RAID arrangement; operating system and software licensing also need to be considered before deployment.

Choose the hardware profile

Match the processor and memory configuration to your application, database or virtualisation needs.

Plan the storage layout

Select disk capacity and a suitable RAID arrangement. RAID supports availability; it does not replace a backup.

Review the network allocation

Compare port speed, committed connectivity and monthly transfer. They describe different parts of your service.

Questions, answered

A few things worth knowing.

Clear answers before you choose your next service.

Do I own the physical server?

This is a server rental service. If you already own hardware and want to place it in our facility, choose Colocation.

Is a 1 Gbit port the same as 1 Gbit committed bandwidth?

No. Port capacity, committed bandwidth and transfer allowance are separate specifications. Review all three on the current product page.

Does RAID replace a backup?

No. RAID can help a system tolerate certain disk failures, but it does not protect against deletion, corruption or all other data-loss scenarios.
